The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Nicolás Castillo took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Klaus Gryc. Klaus Gryc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Klaus Gryc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macnelly Torres in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Vancouver Reds's Macnelly Torres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Klaus Gryc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Macnelly Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Froghino's goal looked a bit too open when Macnelly Torres came free, but Klaus Gryc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Vancouver Reds booed when Froghino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miloš Židek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Klaus Gryc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macnelly Torres in the 28th minute of play. Klaus Gryc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Macnelly Torres in the 31st minute of the match. Froghino's Klaus Gryc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macnelly Torres in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Froghino's Adam Ries got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ota Hvězda got a throw-in 37 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Adam Ries. Vancouver Reds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolás Castillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Macnelly Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Froghino booed when Vancouver Reds was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amédée Gillis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vancouver Reds made a substitution. Pang Jun replaced Lilo Stich. Amédée Gillis hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. After the first half Vancouver Reds were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Froghino's goalkeeper Klaus Gryc, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With splendid footwork Sima Marinković arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-5 by the left pole in the game's 78th minute. Vancouver Reds's Guo Ke Peng was substituted for Maxwell Eddy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sima Marinković in the 83rd minute of play forced Froghino's goalkeeper Klaus Gryc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Froghino getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Custódio Preto hit a great ball. Klaus Gryc was a little too slow when Macnelly Torres got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 0-6. Guo Ke Peng's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Klaus Gryc read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Custódio Preto hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Nicolás Castillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Klaus Gryc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Sima Marinković had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klaus Gryc. Froghino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sima Marinković was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. The Vancouver Reds players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
