Klaus Gryc was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Macnelly Torres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Klaus Gryc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolás Castillo in the 10th minute of the match. Klaus Gryc made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Nicolás Castillo sent off a good shot on target. Klaus Gryc stood somewhat misplaced when Nicolás Castillo came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. The audience was convinced that Nicolás Castillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Klaus Gryc was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Macnelly Torres took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Klaus Gryc to make any attempt to save it. Klaus Gryc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macnelly Torres in the 28th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Nicolás Castillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vancouver Reds's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolás Castillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Klaus Gryc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Froghino's Klaus Gryc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Macnelly Torres in the 36th minute of play. Froghino's Klaus Gryc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Froghino from getting a goal against them. Macnelly Torres scored 4-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Klaus Gryc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th minute, Macnelly Torres left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vancouver Reds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilbert Manduca was the one to do the kick off. Klaus Gryc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolás Castillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Macnelly Torres in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Klaus Gryc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the match, Macnelly Torres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klaus Gryc. Froghino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Macnelly Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. 61 minutes into the match, Nicolás Castillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klaus Gryc. An unexpectedly hard shot by Macnelly Torres in the 79th minute of play forced Froghino's goalkeeper Klaus Gryc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Froghino's zone, Nicolás Castillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klaus Gryc came out of the goal and Nicolás Castillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Klaus Gryc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Abraão in the 93rd minute of the match. Helmut Halíř charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Helmut Halíř the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Helmut Halíř kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vancouver Reds fully deserved thier win.
