El Fortín de Floresta's Carolo Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonard Lewkowicz in the 3rd minute of play. Chaouki Ben Rau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carolo Naelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonard Lewkowicz's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when Edin Džeko came free, but Carolo Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute of the match F.C. Sosnowiec got a corner. El Fortín de Floresta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Konstanty Literski ran over to the corner to take the kick. 16 minutes into the match, Chaouki Ben Rau dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kacper Tobiáš, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radomil Brack during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hector Selmo came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kacper Tobiáš could save by the left post. Kacper Tobiáš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Ioritz in the 31st minute of the match. Edin Džeko might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carolo Naelio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edin Džeko ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute Edin Džeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Naelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when Edin Džeko came free, but Carolo Naelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Selmo's late challenge caught a F.C. Sosnowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After some careless play in the El Fortín de Floresta defense, Edin Džeko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carolo Naelio. The El Fortín de Floresta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carolo Naelio should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Edin Džeko got free with Carolo Naelio in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Edin Džeko came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the F.C. Sosnowiec fans jumped to their feet. Sosnowiec's protests and gave Inocencio Eufrasio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of El Fortín de Floresta booed when F.C. Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Eufrasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The F.C. Sosnowiec supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing F.C. Sosnowiec would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
