La Scaloneta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daryl Lutz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcos Loi made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Loi came free, but Ewan Davin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Engrand helped the player get up and apologised. After some careless play in the La Scaloneta defense, Marcos Loi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ewan Davin. The La Scaloneta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ewan Davin should have stopped the shot. Marcos Loi struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ewan Davin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aerolineas Argentinas FC. La Scaloneta's Ewan Davin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Erasto in the 98th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Aerolineas Argentinas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
