In the 14th minute Pavel Brânza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Sergi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Urbasa Alabern got free with Teodosio Sergi in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Timoteo Gines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Cordario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Timoteo Gines dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Urbasa Alabern sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pavel Brânza made a kick off. Teodosio Sergi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbasa Alabern in the 58th minute of play. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by Challacó's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ignacio Berenguer was slow to take the kick. During this time Velez Sarsfield's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Ronan Mistral managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Teodosio Sergi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 魏皓晨, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Timoteo Gines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Cordario in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Challacó's goalkeeper Timoteo Gines had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Cordario. After taking down the ball on Challacó's corner Emmanouil Tsirigakis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Teodosio Sergi quite easily take care of the ball. Timoteo Gines made an important save on a dangerous shot by Augusto Cordario in the 77th minute. Ando Averin got a throw-in 80 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Leandro Berti. Augusto Cordario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timoteo Gines having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Augusto Cordario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Timoteo Gines. Timoteo Gines yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 92nd minute, Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Velez Sarsfield eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
