Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Víctor Franco kicked off to start the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kraig Fred in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Orixe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Muñeco FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maximo Dei was slow to take the kick. During this time Estudiantes de América's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Kraig Fred heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 6th minute Kraig Fred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Orixe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Kraig Fred put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Emiliano Orixe. If Kraig Fred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the game, Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emiliano Orixe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Muñeco FC booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kraig Fred didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Korneliusz Miodek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the game, Kraig Fred cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Emiliano Orixe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emiliano Orixe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kraig Fred's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Kraig Fred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Emiliano Orixe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Muñeco FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Adan Lizer hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Kraig Fred managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estudiantes de América's supporters rose to their feet, but Kraig Fred was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Orixe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Medina in the 45th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 47th minute of the game was made by Adan Lizer with Teodoro Medina as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
