Chelsea Headhunters's Matthew McKail played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Salkvist in the 8th minute of play. The Chelsea Headhunters players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BK Gubbhöft were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fidel Veronica was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans-Georg Luabunnum in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matthew McKail saved Chelsea Headhunters from getting behind. The BK Gubbhöft supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing BK Gubbhöft would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
