Belchior Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Todd Gronow in the 7th minute of play. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fulgencio Gartzi got free with Abelardo Janpier in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Todd Gronow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute Todd Gronow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belchior Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Bragan McPhil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Gronow came free, but Belchior Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Sancar Talaş got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 28 minutes Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alessio Scandella who took care of the corner kick. Alessio Scandella made a great header on La Gallardeta's corner, it was just that Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Abelardo Janpier managed to reach the ball for a save. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alessio Scandella was slow to take the kick. During this time La Gallardeta's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Alessio Scandella got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abelardo Janpier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Todd Gronow in the 39th minute of play. Belchior Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ildefonso Foro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 41 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Foro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Belchior Saldanha was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sädräddin Cavadov charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sädräddin Cavadov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fulgencio Gartzi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the La Gallardeta defense, Todd Gronow kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Belchior Saldanha. The La Gallardeta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Belchior Saldanha should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute, Todd Gronow made a precise shot to the right of Belchior Saldanha. La Gallardeta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 63 minutes into the match, La Gallardeta's goal looked a bit too open when Todd Gronow came free, but Belchior Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abelardo Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Olof Eliasson in the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, La Gallardeta's Enzo Nuñez got a free kick in the 71st minute. Andreas Harlén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Todd Gronow notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of La Gallardeta's Belchior Saldanha. Belchior Saldanha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 79 played minutes La Gallardeta got a freekick which was hit by Sädräddin Cavadov. Bragan McPhil kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Abelardo Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Gartzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ziemowit Chowaniec fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's protests and gave Ziemowit Chowaniec a yellow card for diving instead. Jan-Olof Eliasson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariusz Ratulowski might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Belchior Saldanha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariusz Ratulowski ran back to his position shaking his head. Belchior Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariusz Ratulowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
