Alessio Scandella was slow to take the kick. During this time La Gallardeta's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on La Gallardeta's corner Alessio Scandella fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Abelardo Janpier quite easily take care of the ball. In the 34th minute of the game Bragan McPhil made a throw-in which Fulgencio Gartzi played forward. In the 39th match minute, La Gallardeta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Scandella to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Inaki Mirabal in the 39th minute really tested Belchior Saldanha's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 43 minutes, Sancar Talaş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Gallardeta and the Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sancar Talaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to La Gallardeta getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Sädräddin Cavadov hit a great ball. Belchior Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inaki Mirabal in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

If Fulgencio Gartzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Abelardo Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Gartzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Todd Gronow in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Belchior Saldanha saved La Gallardeta from getting behind. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when La Gallardeta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bragan McPhil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bragan McPhil got a throw-in 59 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fulgencio Gartzi. When La Gallardeta's Fulgencio Gartzi in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 74th minute of the match La Gallardeta got a corner. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alessio Scandella ran over to the corner to take the kick. Belchior Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Todd Gronow in the 76th minute of the match. When Jan-Olof Eliasson came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the La Gallardeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Olof Eliasson couldn't finish the play. When Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Mariusz Ratulowski in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Belchior Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariusz Ratulowski's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
