Ponc Gómez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Best, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Lincoln Li was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colonie FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave León FC the free kick. León FC's Eleazar Gasso was substituted for Romulo Jaen. León FC made a substitution. Samuel Santalla replaced Galsino Barba. After 73 played minutes Colonie FC got a freekick which was hit by Lincoln Li. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Espiridion Manrique put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Lonnie Blankenship. 79 minutes into the match, Colonie FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleazar Gasso came free, but Lonnie Blankenship reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Espiridion Manrique shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lonnie Blankenship saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Santalla's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lonnie Blankenship firmly grabbed it by the left post. Espiridion Manrique did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-6 to the left of a surprised Lonnie Blankenship 96 minutes into the match.
