After 31 minutes of play, Matanza and Steelers's Indiana Jones made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Ibon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matanza and Steelers's Matías Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Figueroa in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Naboonga OFF's Baldomero Ibon got control of the ball when Indiana Jones tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Matanza and Steelers's Indiana Jones slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baldomero Ibon. That made the score 4-0 after 40 minutes of play. Matías Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Macias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baldomero Ibon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Indiana Jones went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

If Adelino Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Baldomero Ibon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Naboonga OFF booed when Matanza and Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dedê Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Florencio Romildo could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Matías Quirino however easily saved by the left post. Baldomero Ibon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indiana Jones, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Ronaldinho Carneiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Ibon was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. After a rather tough play, Naboonga OFF's Fausto Bertin got a free kick in the 79th minute. A collision led to Matanza and Steelers getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Teodoro Gonçalves hit a great ball. A hard shot 87 in the game by Americo Macias from a close distance when the talented Matías Quirino managed to make a qualified save. Naboonga OFF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aílton Montenegro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1.
