Ronaldinho Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Matanza and Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. When Blåvitt's Marc Hökqvist in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Matanza and Steelers's goalie prevented a goal. In the 33rd minute Marc Hökqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matías Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genílson Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alf Gadd having to interfere. Ronaldinho Carneiro took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alf Gadd. Alf Gadd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, Matanza and Steelers's Charles Guerra got a free kick in the 40th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Georg Lindman made a kick off. Ola Wallman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 51st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Matías Quirino. Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marc Hökqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blåvitt's Marc Hökqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Georg Lindman made a precise shot to the right of Matías Quirino. Matanza and Steelers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Falcão Zanette charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Falcão Zanette the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Matanza and Steelers's Falcão Zanette got a free kick in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Charles Guerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matanza and Steelers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blåvitt the free kick. In the 67th minute, Charles Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc Hökqvist in the 69th minute of play forced Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Matías Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Marc Hökqvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matías Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Georg Lindman in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matías Quirino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Blåvitt's Kenny Vallgren got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 91 minutes of play Blåvitt's Kenny Vallgren was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 92nd match minute, Blåvitt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny Vallgren to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Blåvitt fans cheered their team off the field, for while Matanza and Steelers had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
