The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tadeu Linares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31st match minute, Naboonga OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Jago to maneuver through the defense. After 34 played minutes Naboonga OFF got a freekick which was hit by Americo Macias. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimiro Costante to strike the kick off in the second half. Baldomero Ibon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Abreu in the 55th minute of the match. Baldomero Ibon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jailson de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Juarês Gerber hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Tadeu Linares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alfredo Jago in the 94th minute. After a rather tough play, Itajaí Football Club's William Arósio got a free kick in the 95th minute.
