After some careless play in the Jonsereds IF defense, Indiana Jones kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Johnny Dalkvist. The Jonsereds IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Johnny Dalkvist should have stopped the shot. 15 minutes into the game, Falcão Zanette was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Matanza and Steelers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jonsereds IF the free kick. After 15 played minutes Matanza and Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Zanette. After a rather tough play, Matanza and Steelers's Falcão Zanette got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 25th minute, Gerson Lopez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Matanza and Steelers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Indiana Jones charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Indiana Jones the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Indiana Jones hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute Indiana Jones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Dalkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes of play Matanza and Steelers's Oswaldo Neves was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Jonsereds IF booed when Matanza and Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oswaldo Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerson Lopez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Jonsereds IF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Matanza and Steelers were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robert Vidman to make the kick off. Sven-Åke Joensson hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Indiana Jones got free with Johnny Dalkvist in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Aílton Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matanza and Steelers's supporters rose to their feet, but Aílton Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnny Dalkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matías Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin Stabbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matanza and Steelers's Matías Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Vidman in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd match minute, Matanza and Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Salgado to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Jonsereds IF lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
