The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Raul Verga the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Challestone S.C. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Raul Verga had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 8 minutes Challestone S.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elias Siqueira who took care of the corner kick. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Marcel Branco has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 17th minute. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Ambjörnsson in the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match, Marcel Branco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pepe Pancho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Pepe Pancho made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Elias Siqueira sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elias Siqueira got free with Pepe Pancho in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Edwin Tenorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Arsenal de Gols F.C's Elias Siqueira got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pepe Pancho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
