An unexpectedly hard shot by Korkutalp Özguven in the 9th minute of play forced ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's goalkeeper Kasım Okanalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Necati Temizalp in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ferit Boğatekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Anton Axelsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferit Boğatekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necati Temizalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kasım Okanalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korkutalp Özguven, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Frasquito got free with Kasım Okanalp in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute Necati Temizalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferit Boğatekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasım Okanalp was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Noel Buhagiar showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
