In the 40th minute, Edgar Barreto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jesus Sayveon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Proença, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Damian Zaremba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlondo Aguado in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edgar Barreto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, よα αςα∂ємια נυиισяѕ's goal looked a bit too open when Ali Ömer Ongu came free, but Damian Zaremba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Alfredo Birila took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Jesus Sayveon to make any attempt to save it. In the 95th minute, Reno Cartagena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Athletico Picapedrense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
