In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Luzim's goalkeeper Nicolas Neto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Deportivo Medievales's Robert Abbondanzieri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Poças in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute SC Luzim were awarded a corner. Vítor Bettencourt went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led SC Luzim's Vítor Bettencourt to fire away a dangerous shot which Robert Abbondanzieri despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Igor Oskitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Neto having to interfere. Robert Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Ferrão in the 18th minute of the match. Deportivo Medievales's Tytus Ziemniak quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Caetano Cruz, made in the 23rd minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Renato Ferrão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Robert Abbondanzieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustinas Gavorskis in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Deportivo Medievales were awarded a corner. Tomas Sazon went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nino Manfredi in the 67th minute of play forced SC Luzim's goalkeeper Nicolas Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Deportivo Medievales's Augustinas Gavorskis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolas Neto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Deportivo Medievales's Eriberto Dalmai was substituted for Joseph Engelborgh. Augustinas Gavorskis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolas Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Nicolas Neto was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Deportivo Medievales were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
