Shohoku FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicasio Raymond was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Shohoku FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by İlbey Tunçdağ in the 43rd minute. The corner led Shohoku FC's İlbey Tunçdağ to fire away a dangerous shot which Elias Arnedo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Shohoku FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and İlbey Tunçdağ made a kick off. The supporters of Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre booed when Shohoku FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apat Cienfuegos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicasio Raymond hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Farfán in the 64th minute of play forced Shohoku FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Voineag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jefferson Farfán kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Voineag. That made the score 0-4 in the 65 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jefferson Farfán in the 68th minute of play forced Shohoku FC's goalkeeper Gabriel Voineag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabricio Tapia lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 71 minutes into the game, one of Shohoku FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Shohoku FC:s Gabriel Voineag showed great skill when he stopped Jefferson Farfán:s penalty. Jefferson Farfán did an outstanding performance 74 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 0-5 to the right of an irritated Gabriel Voineag in the goal. Jefferson Farfán might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabriel Voineag. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jefferson Farfán ran back to his position shaking his head. Shohoku FC's Gabriel Voineag played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jefferson Farfán in the 78th minute of play. Elias Arnedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yerko Maloku in the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Nicasio Raymond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Voineag was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Gabriel Voineag showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Farfán, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 87th minute Jefferson Farfán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Voineag saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Jefferson Farfán got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gabriel Voineag quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre's attentive Rodrigo Fahl managed to snatch the ball when Bogdan Turcan made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 95th minute, Ivan Pio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ultimo Bondi a Finisterre eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
