Yoto Boshikyov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horace Vaughn, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. When Renegades's Gustav Wenning in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Flames FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 11 minutes, Gustav Wenning made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Flames FC's Margarito Santana tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Zachary Dudek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Margarito Santana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Renegades were awarded a corner. Erhardt Wall went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Renegades's corner Erhardt Wall fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Margarito Santana quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Flames FC booed when Renegades was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ebbe Hamle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Margarito Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frode Numelin in the 20th minute of the match. Donald Kearns hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Norbert Garland sped through Renegades's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Yoto Boshikyov. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norbert Garland in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yoto Boshikyov saved Renegades from getting behind. Yoto Boshikyov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orval Crow's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute, Reagan von Buol-Schaudenstein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yoto Boshikyov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Garland in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Flames FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Cyril Cantrell hit a great ball. Erhardt Wall was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Donald Kearns kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 57th minute of the match, Horace Vaughn got a very nice opportunity to score, but Yoto Boshikyov was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Renegades were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Flames FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erhardt Wall took the corner. In the 82nd match minute, Flames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valère Flowers to maneuver through the defense. Zachary Dudek scored 2-1 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Margarito Santana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yoto Boshikyov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert Garland in the 90th minute. When Flames FC's Norbert Garland in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Renegades's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Norbert Garland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yoto Boshikyov was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Zachary Dudek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flames FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
