Armada's Róbert Benkó got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With 16 minutes on the clock, Ionică Hrandabur commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Cristi Miheș had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Paulo Leoiar's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Armada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Paulo Leoiar scored to the left of an out of position Cristi Miheș, making the score, 1-0. Club Deportivo Español's Eugenio Oliverios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kylian Henry in the 20th minute of play. He Wei Feng went to the cornerflag to take it. The supporters of Armada booed when Club Deportivo Español was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Refugio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Farias charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Farias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd minute, Armada's Cristian Anastasiu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eugenio Oliverios. Eugenio Oliverios yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. In the 88th minute, Kylian Henry reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Eugenio Oliverios. The goal made the score 1-5. 91 minutes into the match, Kylian Henry dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eugenio Oliverios, 1-6. After some careless play in the Club Deportivo Español defense, Kylian Henry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eugenio Oliverios. The Club Deportivo Español fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eugenio Oliverios should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Armada could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Deportivo Español throughout the match.
