But to his dismay, Róbert Benkó quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Cristi Miheș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Garland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Beau Hinojosa fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flames FC's protests and gave Beau Hinojosa a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbert Benkó in the 13th minute of play forced Flames FC's goalkeeper Philip Hood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philip Hood showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbert Benkó, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Kylian Henry ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Philip Hood was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Róbert Benkó might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philip Hood. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Róbert Benkó ran back to his position shaking his head. Flames FC's Philip Hood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Róbert Benkó in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Róbert Benkó's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philip Hood was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. After 25 played minutes Armada got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Anastasiu. When Róbert Benkó came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Armada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Róbert Benkó couldn't finish the play. David Bitănescu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 38 minutes of play, Armada's Róbert Benkó made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philip Hood was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Róbert Benkó left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Armada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Cristi Miheș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert Garland in the 47th minute. After the first half Armada were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Armada made a substitution. Basarab Savin replaced Cristian Anastasiu. After 53 minutes, Róbert Benkó made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Flames FC's Philip Hood tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Micheal Burnham went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Flames FC's Micheal Burnham to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristi Miheș despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The Armada fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Armada's Filomeno Igon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Filomeno Igon had several of the Flames FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 96 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-10 score and a disappointed Philip Hood as he didn't even see the shot coming.
