Michael Turk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Trev Cahill having to make a save. In the 15th match minute, River Thames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loyd Harrington to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Gus Weir recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Trev Cahill. Gus Weir showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in River Thames FC's zone, Timothy Thorne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trev Cahill came out of the goal and Timothy Thorne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the game, Braulio Abel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Trev Cahill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Real Chelsea booed when River Thames FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loyd Harrington didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gus Weir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Trev Cahill made a huge save. 33 minutes into the game, Gus Weir recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Trev Cahill. Gus Weir showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 35th minute, Gus Weir fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Trev Cahill was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Gus Weir capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gus Weir really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. Trev Cahill made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Braulio Abel sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, Stu Bullock dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Trev Cahill, 5-0. Trev Cahill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kelvin Oldham, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Real Chelsea were awarded a corner in the 46th minute after River Thames FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stu Bullock took the corner. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Trev Cahill didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Timothy Thorne went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gus Weir in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trev Cahill prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Trev Cahill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gus Weir, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Gus Weir put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Trev Cahill. Trev Cahill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyler Tolley in the 79th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Timothy Thorne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. In the 89thth minute of the game Braulio Abel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but River Thames FC's Trev Cahill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothy Thorne in the 91st minute of play forced River Thames FC's goalkeeper Trev Cahill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
