Nick McDonachie might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siawn Bartells. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nick McDonachie ran back to his position shaking his head. Dundee Rovers's Gus Simpson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 9th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Gus Simpson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dundee Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Gus Simpson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siawn Bartells breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nick McDonachie took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siawn Bartells. Siawn Bartells dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Llwydeu Crowther during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes inter Cardiff got a freekick which was hit by Llwydeu Crowther. Nick McDonachie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Siawn Bartells made a huge save. 32 minutes into the match, inter Cardiff's goalkeeper Siawn Bartells had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nick McDonachie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nick McDonachie got free with Siawn Bartells in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 46 minutes into the match, Oliver McIlvride dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Siawn Bartells, 3-0.

The wind increased when Selyv Hacker made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, inter Cardiff's Rhobert Essig got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a rather tough play, Dundee Rovers's Nick McDonachie got a free kick in the 57th minute. inter Cardiff's Siawn Bartells played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nick McDonachie in the 60th minute of play. Siawn Bartells didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver McIlvride went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 64th minute, Dean Dyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Collen Forbes came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the inter Cardiff fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Collen Forbes couldn't finish the play. Gus Simpson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siawn Bartells having to interfere. Gus Simpson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Siawn Bartells tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Nick McDonachie notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of inter Cardiff's Siawn Bartells. Siawn Bartells was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to inter Cardiff getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Dewey Hansen hit a great ball. Brandon Borthwick made an important save on a dangerous shot by Selyv Hacker in the 80th minute. Gus Simpson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Siawn Bartells having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nick McDonachie in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siawn Bartells prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Collen Forbes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, inter Cardiff's Dirmyg Bray got a free kick in the 90th minute. After a defensive mix-up in inter Cardiff's zone, Gus Simpson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siawn Bartells came out of the goal and Gus Simpson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Oliver McIlvride came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Dundee Rovers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver McIlvride couldn't finish the play.
