Nick McDonachie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Quinn McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Limerick AFC's Quinn McBjarton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nick McDonachie in the 28th minute of play. Quinn McBjarton came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Dundee Rovers's Gus Simpson. But to his dismay, Gus Simpson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 33 minutes into the game, Gus Simpson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Quinn McBjarton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Quinn McBjarton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nick McDonachie in the 36th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Limerick AFC defense, Gus Simpson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quinn McBjarton. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baiscend Frankson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nick McDonachie's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Quinn McBjarton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 59th minute Baiscend Frankson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Borthwick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Limerick AFC's Baiscend Frankson got a free kick in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Dundee Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Pearson McLian came free, but Brandon Borthwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Dundee Rovers's Nick McDonachie dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. Quinn McBjarton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver McIlvride went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. After having played for 74 minutes, Nick McDonachie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dundee Rovers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nick McDonachie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baiscend Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Borthwick having to interfere. Gus Simpson's late challenge caught a Limerick AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gus Simpson helped the player get up and apologised. Gus Simpson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Baiscend Frankson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 89 played minutes Limerick AFC got a freekick which was hit by Pearson McLian. Shiel Hutton kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
