The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Dundee Rovers's goal looked a bit too open when Timothy Thorne came free, but Brandon Borthwick reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dundee Rovers's Josh Galloway got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Braulio Abel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Borthwick saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dundee Rovers's zone, Timothy Thorne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brandon Borthwick came out of the goal and Timothy Thorne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stu Bullock in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brandon Borthwick saved Dundee Rovers from getting behind. Brandon Borthwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Abel in the 18th minute of play. Gus Weir scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brandon Borthwick, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 22 played minutes Real Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Blomkvist. Gus Simpson took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wei Bing Ran. Wei Bing Ran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Gus Weir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Chelsea's supporters rose to their feet, but Gus Weir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brandon Borthwick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute, Dean Dyer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romário Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 35 minutes of play, Real Chelsea's Timothy Thorne made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brandon Borthwick was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Gus Simpson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dundee Rovers's supporters rose to their feet, but Gus Simpson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wei Bing Ran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gus Weir came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Real Chelsea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gus Weir couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nick McDonachie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brandon Borthwick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timothy Thorne in the 51st minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Real Chelsea's Gus Weir dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Kelvin Oldham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Chelsea's supporters rose to their feet, but Kelvin Oldham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brandon Borthwick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, Real Chelsea's Timothy Thorne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brandon Borthwick. Brandon Borthwick yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Brandon Borthwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stu Bullock, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Real Chelsea's Timothy Thorne was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 67th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Kelvin Oldham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brandon Borthwick having to interfere. Real Chelsea's Dustin Schellander was substituted for Stu Bullock. Real Chelsea's Tyler Tolley was substituted for Gus Weir. Real Chelsea's Patrick Panther was substituted for Rodd Commons. Brandon Borthwick made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Tyler Tolley sent off a good shot on target. Brandon Borthwick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyler Tolley in the 82nd minute of the match. Dundee Rovers's Brandon Borthwick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timothy Thorne in the 87th minute of play. Braulio Abel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Brandon Borthwick made a huge save. Real Chelsea's Tyler Tolley was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 90th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the final whistle sounded Real Chelsea left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dundee Rovers.
