The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Shiel Hutton during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Quinn McBjarton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quinn McBjarton came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by inter Cardiff's Dewey Hansen. But to his dismay, Dewey Hansen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. inter Cardiff played a much better game than Limerick AFC and deserved their victory. The Limerick AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
