Theo Groom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gus Weir went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 15 minutes into the match, East Ham United's goal looked a bit too open when Timothy Thorne came free, but Theo Groom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 minutes East Ham United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Stu Bullock who took care of the corner kick. Mike Callery hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Gus Weir in the 27thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Theo Groom, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gus Weir struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Theo Groom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Chelsea. Gus Weir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gus Weir in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theo Groom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After taking down the ball on Real Chelsea's corner Uno Klemensson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Theo Groom quite easily take care of the ball. After 36 minutes, Gus Weir made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. East Ham United's Theo Groom tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Dustin Schellander fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Chelsea's protests and gave Dustin Schellander a yellow card for diving instead. Dustin Schellander kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Gus Weir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Groom having to interfere. With his leg Theo Groom managed to avoid a goal in the 47thth minute, when Real Chelsea's Gus Weir fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

52 minutes into the match, Gus Weir notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of East Ham United's Theo Groom. Theo Groom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gus Weir in the 56th minute of play forced East Ham United's goalkeeper Theo Groom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Real Chelsea's Stu Bullock was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Theo Groom in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Theo Groom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dustin Schellander, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Dustin Schellander had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Theo Groom. East Ham United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dustin Schellander was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Harry Robson hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Gus Weir's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Theo Groom was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. In the 72nd minute Dustin Schellander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Groom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Gus Weir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Chelsea's supporters rose to their feet, but Gus Weir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Theo Groom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Real Chelsea's Gordon Winfield was substituted for Rodd Commons. Stu Bullock's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theo Groom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After a rather tough play, East Ham United's Martyn Braithwaite got a free kick in the 82nd minute. The audience was convinced that Tyler Tolley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Theo Groom was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. A collision led to East Ham United getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Timothy Breckin hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, East Ham United's Martyn Braithwaite got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After recieving a nice pass, Real Chelsea's Stu Bullock tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Real Chelsea's Kelvin Oldham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theo Groom made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Real Chelsea's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
