River Thames FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave inter Cardiff the free kick. In the 30th minute, Collen Forbes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, inter Cardiff's Gwalhaved Dineen got a free kick in the 36th minute. Aras Görkem Zümer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The inter Cardiff players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. River Thames FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ian York stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. River Thames FC played a much better game than inter Cardiff and deserved their victory. The inter Cardiff players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
