Fedele Scutti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver McIlvride, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Atletico Roma's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver McIlvride came free, but Fedele Scutti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fedele Scutti made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Gus Simpson sent off a good shot on target. Fedele Scutti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nick McDonachie in the 14th minute. William McJames hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Will Hotte, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 27th match minute, Atletico Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gareth Timiney to maneuver through the defense. Nick McDonachie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gus Simpson took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fedele Scutti. Fedele Scutti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver McIlvride got free with Fedele Scutti in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 44 minutes, Walter Munn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dundee Rovers and the Atletico Roma players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dundee Rovers getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Walter Munn hit a great ball. Atletico Roma's Fedele Scutti proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Roma from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Will Hotte was the one to do the kick off. Fedele Scutti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Brandon Borthwick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Hudson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Dundee Rovers were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atletico Roma for a fine match.
