Quinn McBjarton was a little too slow when Selyv Hacker got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. Limerick AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Collen Forbes scored to the left of an out of position Quinn McBjarton, making the score, 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Selyv Hacker could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Quinn McBjarton however easily saved by the left post. 37 minutes into the game, Dewey Hansen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. inter Cardiff's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Limerick AFC the free kick. In the 37th match minute, inter Cardiff was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dewey Hansen to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute of the match inter Cardiff got a corner. Limerick AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dewey Hansen ran over to the corner to take the kick. 47 minutes into the match, Limerick AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Collen Forbes came free, but Quinn McBjarton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baiscend Frankson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Limerick AFC booed when inter Cardiff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selyv Hacker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Siawn Bartells took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pearson McLian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, inter Cardiff's Siawn Bartells got control of the ball when Baiscend Frankson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aubrey Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siawn Bartells having to interfere. Selyv Hacker took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quinn McBjarton. Quinn McBjarton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After some careless play in the Limerick AFC defense, Selyv Hacker kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quinn McBjarton. The Limerick AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quinn McBjarton should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Limerick AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Selyv Hacker came free, but Quinn McBjarton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Baiscend Frankson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Limerick AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Baiscend Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Siawn Bartells having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. inter Cardiff had won after a very even match.
