Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jan-Erik Lönn kicked off to start the match. Jan-Erik Lönn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo got control of the ball when Jan-Erik Lönn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guillermo Marin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Martín Izquierdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7thth minute of the game Jan-Erik Lönn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jan-Erik Lönn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaias Lesardo struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Martín Izquierdo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formentera. 14 minutes into the game, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Benjamin Izquierdo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prudencio Otsoko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Martin Palermo F.C. from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Martín Izquierdo got control of the ball when Jan-Erik Lönn tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Martin Palermo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Vito to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Semeno ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 36th minute Guillermo Marin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martín Izquierdo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Otsoko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benicio Izquierdo's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After 45 minutes of play, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Celso Frutos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prudencio Otsoko was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Perrando was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso Frutos in the 51st minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Prudencio Otsoko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prudencio Otsoko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamin Izquierdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Celso Frutos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Otsoko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Isaias Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martín Izquierdo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Erik Lönn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo F.C.'s Benicio Izquierdo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prudencio Otsoko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jan-Erik Lönn's late challenge caught a Martin Palermo F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Erik Lönn helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Formentera getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Jan-Erik Lönn hit a great ball. Formentera's Jan-Erik Lönn got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Martin Palermo F.C.'s zone, Jan-Erik Lönn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martín Izquierdo came out of the goal and Jan-Erik Lönn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Palermo F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
