The audience thought a goal was coming when Santos Borre got free with Delmar Ignado in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brennan Johnson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Ignado having to interfere. The DESTROY fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when DESTROY's Armando Maradona looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Laurids Baylund came out of the goal and Conrado Mogel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. DESTROY were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Kanalla F.C for a fine match.
