The audience was convinced that Vito Bonito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeusz Dubiel was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Roger Horna made in the 89th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vito Bonito. Vito Bonito might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tadeusz Dubiel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vito Bonito ran back to his position shaking his head. Tadeusz Dubiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Bonito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeusz Dubiel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito Bonito's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute.
