When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Rolando Ubarna took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Gerardo Bemabe to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Olivos AFC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Pascual Olentzaro hit a great ball. Rolando Ubarna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romulo Harriet hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Rolando Ubarna scored 2-0 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerardo Bemabe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Olivos AFC's Filomeno Abadia got a free kick in the 27th minute. Celestino Sandalio hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Rolando Ubarna scored 3-0 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gerardo Bemabe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eloy Jakobe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The Olivos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerardo Bemabe should have stopped the shot.
