Santos Roldan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sixto Barbosa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, DESTROY's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Roldan came free, but Sixto Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes DESTROY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Santos Roldan who took care of the corner kick. Sixto Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Roldan in the 14th minute of play. Rolando Ubarna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Gabriel Salvidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedicto Fortun's late challenge caught a DESTROY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benedicto Fortun helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Santos Roldan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Maximino Montrel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DESTROY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chorroarín the free kick. After 31 played minutes DESTROY got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Montrel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Roldan in the 36th minute of play forced DESTROY's goalkeeper Sixto Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Roldan scored 0-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sixto Barbosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eloy Feo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Americo Erramu struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Sixto Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chorroarín. In the 48th minute, Honorato Perfecto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in DESTROY's zone, Santos Roldan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Barbosa came out of the goal and Santos Roldan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sixto Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Santos Roldan sent off a good shot on target. When Natalio Inguma came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Chorroarín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Inguma couldn't finish the play. DESTROY's Sixto Barbosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Americo Erramu in the 73rd minute of play. With his leg Sixto Barbosa managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Chorroarín's Americo Erramu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Osvaldo Osorio fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DESTROY's protests and gave Osvaldo Osorio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, DESTROY's Osvaldo Osorio got a free kick in the 74th minute. Natalio Inguma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th match minute, Chorroarín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Roldan to maneuver through the defense. Sixto Barbosa came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Chorroarín's Santos Roldan. But to his dismay, Santos Roldan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice moves Santos Roldan could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Sixto Barbosa however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to DESTROY getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Maximino Montrel hit a great ball. Chorroarín's Lino Beila managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Hernan Tello in the 88 minute of the game. In the 90th minute of the match, Santos Roldan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sixto Barbosa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in DESTROY's zone, Benedicto Fortun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Barbosa came out of the goal and Benedicto Fortun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorato Perfecto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Barbosa having to interfere. When the match was over Chorroarín could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DESTROY throughout the match.
