C.'s goalkeeper Intxixu Porregimon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdulkadir Turay. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldinho Romero in the 19th minute of play forced Cercadinho's goalkeeper Dong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Romero in the 22nd minute of the match. Cercadinho's Dong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Romero in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mexilhão F. C.'s Germano Pernambucano got a free kick in the 25th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valiente Venezian got free with Intxixu Porregimon in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Cercadinho defense, Anaia Barba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dong. The Cercadinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dong should have stopped the shot. Anaia Barba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Izydor Domamir fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cercadinho's protests and gave Izydor Domamir a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cercadinho getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Izydor Domamir hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes Cercadinho got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Pirani. In the 48th minute Ronaldinho Romero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

53 minutes into the game, Abdulkadir Turay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cercadinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexilhão F. C. the free kick. In the 55th minute, Abdulkadir Turay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dong made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ronaldinho Romero sent off a good shot on target. In the 57thth minute of the game Abdulkadir Turay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexilhão F. C.'s Intxixu Porregimon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Romero came free, but Dong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Izydor Domamir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, William de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cercadinho's supporters rose to their feet, but William de Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Intxixu Porregimon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. William de Castro charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed William de Castro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cercadinho getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. William de Castro hit a great ball. Germano Pernambucano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 78th playminute. Intxixu Porregimon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valiente Venezian in the 81st minute of the match. The throw-in from Ernesto Félix in the 83rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cercadinho's Enrique Gerber. 86 minutes into the match, Cercadinho's Valiente Venezian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Intxixu Porregimon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match was over Mexilhão F. C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cercadinho throughout the match.
