The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Quinn McBjarton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cliff Gordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quinn McBjarton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Monk in the 8th minute of play. Kirk Perkins took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Quinn McBjarton. Limerick AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th minute, Cliff Gordon made a precise shot to the right of Quinn McBjarton. Limerick AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 15th minute Cliff Gordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinn McBjarton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quinn McBjarton came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors's Rio Fuller. But to his dismay, Rio Fuller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Quinn McBjarton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Monk in the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Limerick AFC defense, Charlie Monk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quinn McBjarton. The Limerick AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quinn McBjarton should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Limerick AFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Pearson McLian hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Bivadas McCready hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Quinn McBjarton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brett Dingle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute Cliff Gordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quinn McBjarton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pawel Makarewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pearson McLian, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Quinn McBjarton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cliff Gordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Charlie Monk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36thth minute of the game Charlie Monk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Limerick AFC's Quinn McBjarton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Pearson McLian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrea Strano in the 41st minute of play forced Limerick AFC's goalkeeper Quinn McBjarton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Damon Houghton. Pawel Makarewicz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Barock McFrancise. After the first half Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cliff Gordon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Rio Fuller left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 57th play minute Cliff Gordon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Quinn McBjarton. 0-5. Limerick AFC's Quinn McBjarton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Limerick AFC from getting a goal against them. Baiscend Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pawel Makarewicz having to interfere. Cliff Gordon struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Quinn McBjarton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors. In the 68th minute, Charlie Monk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Quinn McBjarton. The goal made the score 0-6. A collision led to Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Charlie Monk hit a great ball. With a little luck, Limerick AFC's Quinn McBjarton got control of the ball when Charlie Monk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baiscend Frankson in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pawel Makarewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Limerick AFC booed when Chelsea AFC Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rio Fuller didn't get a good kick on the ball. Limerick AFC's Baiscend Frankson got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cliff Gordon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Quinn McBjarton made a huge save.
