Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Francis Curtis started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute Samuel Linkletter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Torstein Stenseth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Poate in the 11th minute of play forced Corinthians FC's goalkeeper Torstein Stenseth to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torstein Stenseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Linkletter in the 12th minute of play. Len Woolford hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Gürhan Yücel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Ramirez, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Stu Dunning took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gürhan Yücel. Gürhan Yücel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Torstein Stenseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Poate in the 19th minute of play. Noel Wiltshire charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Noel Wiltshire the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Corinthians FC made a substitution. Felix Beale replaced Roy Mortimer. Noel Wiltshire hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Gürhan Yücel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Felix Beale. Torstein Stenseth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Poate in the 24th minute of play. Torstein Stenseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul Poate, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Torstein Stenseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel Linkletter in the 27th minute of the match. With a little luck, AFC Chievo Verona's Gürhan Yücel got control of the ball when Francis Curtis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Torstein Stenseth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Poate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Niceto Ramirez, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 42 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gürhan Yücel was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gürhan Yücel came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthians FC's Francis Curtis. But to his dismay, Francis Curtis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Torstein Stenseth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Poate in the 56th minute of the match. Gürhan Yücel came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Corinthians FC's Francis Curtis. But to his dismay, Francis Curtis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gürhan Yücel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niceto Ramirez went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Teodoro Hondaro hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Torstein Stenseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugh Kennedy, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Francis Curtis took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gürhan Yücel. Gürhan Yücel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 79th minute, Len Woolford left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corinthians FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 83 minutes into the game, Samuel Linkletter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Chievo Verona's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corinthians FC the free kick. In the 83rd match minute, AFC Chievo Verona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Linkletter to maneuver through the defense. When Noel Wiltshire was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. After 85 played minutes AFC Chievo Verona got a freekick which was hit by Noel Wiltshire. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Ramirez in the 86th minute of play forced AFC Chievo Verona's goalkeeper Gürhan Yücel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Francis Curtis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gürhan Yücel was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Torstein Stenseth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugh Kennedy, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
