Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Russ Hunter started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charlie Monk in the 3rd minute of play forced AFC Chievo Verona's goalkeeper Gürhan Yücel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gürhan Yücel came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Parma Wanderers's Charlie Monk. But to his dismay, Charlie Monk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, AFC Chievo Verona's Marek Hartley got a free kick in the 8th minute. Charlie Monk took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gürhan Yücel. Gürhan Yücel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Gürhan Yücel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rio Fuller in the 16th minute of the match. Henry Warne kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Parma Wanderers's Pawel Makarewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Parma Wanderers from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Samuel Linkletter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the AFC Chievo Verona defense, Rio Fuller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gürhan Yücel. The AFC Chievo Verona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gürhan Yücel should have stopped the shot. Charlie Monk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gürhan Yücel having to interfere. After 35 minutes, Charlie Monk made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. AFC Chievo Verona's Gürhan Yücel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Parma Wanderers getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Edmondo Pan hit a great ball. With a little luck, Parma Wanderers's Pawel Makarewicz got control of the ball when Samuel Linkletter tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gürhan Yücel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Russ Hunter in the 45th minute of play. Hugh Kennedy who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Pawel Makarewicz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hugh Kennedy stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pawel Makarewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugh Kennedy in the 54th minute of play. Parma Wanderers's Pawel Makarewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Linkletter in the 55th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Brett Dingle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parma Wanderers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brett Dingle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, AFC Chievo Verona's Gürhan Yücel got control of the ball when Charlie Monk tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gürhan Yücel made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Russ Hunter sent off a good shot on target. Pawel Makarewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Linkletter, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Gürhan Yücel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Russ Hunter in the 71st minute. Samuel Linkletter kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Parma Wanderers made a substitution. George Munroe replaced Kirk Perkins. Hugh Kennedy kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Gürhan Yücel came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Parma Wanderers's Charlie Monk. But to his dismay, Charlie Monk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Rio Fuller got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. AFC Chievo Verona's Gürhan Yücel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save AFC Chievo Verona from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute Hugh Kennedy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Makarewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pawel Makarewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Poate in the 90th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Rio Fuller dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gürhan Yücel, 0-7. Parma Wanderers played a much better game than AFC Chievo Verona and deserved their victory. The AFC Chievo Verona players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
