FC Amsterdam Wanderers's Wesley Rush played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rio Fuller in the 31st minute of play. Wesley Rush took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Monk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feridun Eronat in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pawel Makarewicz saved Parma Wanderers from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in FC Amsterdam Wanderers's zone, Charlie Monk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Rush came out of the goal and Charlie Monk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wesley Rush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charlie Monk in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Rio Fuller made a precise shot to the right of Wesley Rush. FC Amsterdam Wanderers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rio Fuller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Charlie Monk fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parma Wanderers's protests and gave Charlie Monk a yellow card for diving instead. Ruben Love kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Brett Dingle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wesley Rush. FC Amsterdam Wanderers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Feridun Eronat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pawel Makarewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
