Peissawg Francis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Boleslaw Mudry dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Trev Cahill, 1-0. With a little luck, River Thames FC's Trev Cahill got control of the ball when Owein Lydiican tried to sneak it across the goal line. Trev Cahill made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boleslaw Mudry in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes River Thames FC got a freekick which was hit by Charles Baker. In the 18th minute, Charles Baker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boleslaw Mudry's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Trev Cahill firmly grabbed it by the left post. 23 minutes into the game, Huw Howard recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Trev Cahill. Huw Howard showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Marcus Swift had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emrys Fry. Chester City AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcus Swift was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. In the 30th minute, Boleslaw Mudry got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ian York scored 2-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emrys Fry, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 35 minutes, Ruperto Tano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the River Thames FC and the Chester City AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th match minute, River Thames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Tano to maneuver through the defense. Trev Cahill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huw Howard in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peissawg Francis in the 40th minute of play forced River Thames FC's goalkeeper Trev Cahill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Trev Cahill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peissawg Francis in the 41st minute of play. Trev Cahill was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Huw Howard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 46 minute of play.

In the 51st minute, one of Chester City AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chester City AFC. In the 58th match minute, River Thames FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Baker to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the match, River Thames FC's goal looked a bit too open when Peissawg Francis came free, but Trev Cahill reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Peissawg Francis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Trev Cahill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Charles Baker got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Peissawg Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Trev Cahill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emrys Fry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian York, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rhuvawn Corr in the 81st minute of play forced River Thames FC's goalkeeper Trev Cahill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Rhuvawn Corr notched a goal, 5-4, to the right of River Thames FC's Trev Cahill. Trev Cahill was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, River Thames FC's Marcus Swift got a free kick in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Boleslaw Mudry cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-4. Trev Cahill was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the River Thames FC defense, Peissawg Francis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trev Cahill. The River Thames FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trev Cahill should have stopped the shot. Peissawg Francis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Trev Cahill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emrys Fry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian York in the 97th minute of play. When Charles Baker fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Thames FC's protests and gave Charles Baker a yellow card for diving instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chester City AFC fully deserved thier win.
