In the 25th match minute, AFC Chievo Verona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seb Hurdle to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see FC Amsterdam Wanderers's Damon Kitchen in action when he in the 26th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Wesley Rush made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seb Hurdle in the 28th minute of play. AFC Chievo Verona's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Feridun Eronat scored to the left of an out of position Gürhan Yücel, making the score, 2-0. After some careless play in the FC Amsterdam Wanderers defense, Samuel Linkletter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wesley Rush. The FC Amsterdam Wanderers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wesley Rush should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the game, Samuel Linkletter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Wesley Rush was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 47 minutes into the game, Marek Hartley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. In the 89th minute of the match Damon Kitchen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gürhan Yücel skillfully saved the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Feridun Eronat notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of AFC Chievo Verona's Gürhan Yücel. Gürhan Yücel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gürhan Yücel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feridun Eronat's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
