Wesley Rush showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cliff Gordon in the 9th minute of the match. Vinnie Baxter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Pawel Makarewicz made a huge save. Damian Thurman kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Vinnie Baxter notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Parma Wanderers's Pawel Makarewicz. Pawel Makarewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 20 minutes into the game, Parma Wanderers's Cliff Gordon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wesley Rush made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 24 minutes into the match, Cliff Gordon notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of FC Amsterdam Wanderers's Wesley Rush. Wesley Rush was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Parma Wanderers's Pawel Makarewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Love in the 32nd minute of play. Parma Wanderers's Damian Thurman got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 39th minute Cliff Gordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Rush saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wesley Rush showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cliff Gordon, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Ashley Barron hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Thurman in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wesley Rush prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vinnie Baxter to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, FC Amsterdam Wanderers's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cliff Gordon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Pawel Makarewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinnie Baxter in the 59th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, David Love managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Amsterdam Wanderers's supporters rose to their feet, but David Love was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pawel Makarewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Parma Wanderers booed when FC Amsterdam Wanderers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Love didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Cliff Gordon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wesley Rush was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. FC Amsterdam Wanderers's Wesley Rush proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save FC Amsterdam Wanderers from getting a goal against them. Wesley Rush was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cliff Gordon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 75 minute of play. Parma Wanderers's George Munroe was substituted for Kirk Perkins. Wesley Rush showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Monk, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Parma Wanderers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
