Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Albino Maiorga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sataporn Snabl in the 12th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos came free, but Albino Maiorga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albino Maiorga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zdzislaw Rydzewski in the 24th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's zone, Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Maiorga came out of the goal and Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KIA KAHA's Lu Sha Cheng was substituted for Sataporn Snabl. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of KIA KAHA:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deportivo Pomelo Nenene:s goal. After 45 minutes KIA KAHA's goalkeeper Fabio Santilli managed, with a little bit of luck, save Pascual Pomelin's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. If Karl-Erik Lind had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Albino Maiorga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chatziantoniou Anagnostopoulos in the 59th minute of play forced Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Albino Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Camilo Azubeli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KIA KAHA's Thomas Corredor was substituted for Marcelino Calzada. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Glanselius in the 73rd minute of play forced Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Albino Maiorga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Albino Maiorga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The Deportivo Pomelo Nenene fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KIA KAHA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
