Cătălin Dăianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfred Skirzynski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Alfred Skirzynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Dăianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Kornatowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Cătălin Dăianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Alfred Skirzynski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hahay's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Skirzynski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cătălin Dăianu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 28th minute, Bernard Drugi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Cătălin Dăianu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A very nice done corner allowed Bernard Drugi to score against Cătălin Dăianu in FC GURZUN's goal. 0-2 after 33 minutes. The supporters of FC GURZUN booed when Hahay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Skirzynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wit Jaszyna's late challenge caught a FC GURZUN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wit Jaszyna helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hahay's Wit Jaszyna got a free kick in the 40th minute. Daniel Janiczek charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniel Janiczek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Janiczek. Abelardo Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mihail Ifrim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cătălin Dăianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Drugi, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Drugi in the 47th minute of play forced FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Cătălin Dăianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernard Drugi to make the kick off. Alfred Skirzynski's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 51stth minute, Cătălin Dăianu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Alfred Skirzynski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cătălin Dăianu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Cătălin Dăianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Przemyslaw Ankiewicz in the 58th minute of play. Cătălin Dăianu was a little too slow when Alfred Skirzynski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-3. In the 62nd minute, Remus Sinulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Waldemar Karbowski from long distance, 64 minutes into the match, got Cătălin Dăianu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Ferdinand Brănescu's late challenge caught a Hahay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinand Brănescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute, Ferdinand Brănescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfred Skirzynski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hahay's Alfred Skirzynski got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 82 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Cătălin Dăianu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Skirzynski. In the 84th minute, Hahay's Alfred Skirzynski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cătălin Dăianu. Cătălin Dăianu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Cătălin Dăianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfred Skirzynski in the 87th minute of play. 89 minutes in the game, Daniel Janiczek fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cătălin Dăianu having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Alfred Skirzynski made a precise shot to the right of Cătălin Dăianu. FC GURZUN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6.
