In the 8th match minute, FC GURZUN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugurel Ştefănoiu to maneuver through the defense. Brooklyn SC were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after FC GURZUN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Randall Haynes took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Randall Haynes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cătălin Dăianu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Randall Haynes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Cătălin Dăianu made a huge save. Augustin Gorjanu took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldo Cadena. Osvaldo Cadena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Iustinian Drăghincescu came free, but Osvaldo Cadena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes, Mugurel Ştefănoiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC GURZUN and the Brooklyn SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mugurel Ştefănoiu hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. If Randall Haynes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34thth minute of the game Randall Haynes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC GURZUN's Cătălin Dăianu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A.J. Spangler might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cătălin Dăianu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. A.J. Spangler ran back to his position shaking his head. After 36 played minutes FC GURZUN got a freekick which was hit by Mihail Ifrim. Gică Oros hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Scot Lincoln hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, FC GURZUN's Mihail Ifrim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvaldo Cadena made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pascal Dailey made a kick off. After a rather tough play, FC GURZUN's Viorel Brădescu got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Cătălin Dăianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Dailey, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Mugurel Ştefănoiu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Osvaldo Cadena, 0-3. After 73 played minutes FC GURZUN got a freekick which was hit by Remus Sinulescu. After a rather tough play, FC GURZUN's Gică Oros got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 75th minute, Randall Haynes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Augustin Gorjanu hit a great ball. Brooklyn SC's Randall Haynes got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Randall Haynes during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC GURZUN's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
