After 20 played minutes, Heavenly Hooters's Shawn Banks shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tadeusz Dubiel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Heavenly Hooters reached it. In the 23rd minute, Sylwester Kaczor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeusz Dubiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marty Hill in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fryderyk Psotka in the 28th minute of play forced Heavenly Hooters's goalkeeper Bill Peterson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Heavenly Hooters's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iwan Dziuma was slow to take the kick. During this time A State Of Trance's players had a chance to rest. Tadeusz Dubiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harold Lloyd in the 31st minute of the match. Heavenly Hooters were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after A State Of Trance's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Shawn Banks took the corner. Eugeniusz Dytrych hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harold Lloyd stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tadeusz Dubiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Einar Lindholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Einar Lindholm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeusz Dubiel was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in A State Of Trance's zone, Pierre Pelc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadeusz Dubiel came out of the goal and Pierre Pelc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Heavenly Hooters walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
