Pablo Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cecilio Claus in the 19th minute of play. Ruben Ospetsu's late challenge caught a BICHO neuquino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruben Ospetsu helped the player get up and apologised. Pablo Lartaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Orti, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Roque Erauso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomiro Juvenal during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pablo Lartaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Abel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Cecilio Claus notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Challacó's Pablo Lartaun. Pablo Lartaun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pablo Lartaun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damaso Tristan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Challacó were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after BICHO neuquino's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Erasmo Harkaitz took the corner. After 47 played minutes Challacó got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Cordearo. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David Orti to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Damaso Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Lartaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Ospetsu was shown his second yellow card after 60 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Challacó's Ruben Ospetsu got a free kick in the 60th minute. Pablo Lartaun was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Damaso Tristan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Damaso Tristan really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. 67 minutes into the match, Challacó's goal looked a bit too open when David Orti came free, but Pablo Lartaun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Pablo Lartaun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Challacó getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Tomás Cordearo hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Luciano Abel had to leave the field with a concussion. Erasmo Harkaitz hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute of the match, Gabriel Millrick tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pablo Lartaun saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eustaquio Ekhi scored 0-7 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pablo Lartaun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damaso Tristan took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Lartaun. Pablo Lartaun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8.
