The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nereo Rufo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Rodolfo Mark when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 7 played minutes Alvarado de Mar del Plata got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Txilar. Rodolfo Mark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernan Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Haroldo Atarrabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Black Sky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Atarrabi came free, but Melquiades Sergi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Jenaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Melquiades Sergi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Damian Rito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Rito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Sergi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Rufo in the 20th minute of play forced Alvarado de Mar del Plata's goalkeeper Rodolfo Mark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute, Fernando Eleazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Melquiades Sergi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Rito in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Rito in the 31st minute of play forced Black Sky FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Sergi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Black Sky FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Rito came free, but Melquiades Sergi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damian Rito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Rios in the 41st minute of play forced Alvarado de Mar del Plata's goalkeeper Rodolfo Mark to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Sky FC's goalkeeper Melquiades Sergi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nereo Rufo made a kick off. In the 57th match minute, Alvarado de Mar del Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Jaunti to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Alvarado de Mar del Plata getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Cesar Jenaro hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Saverio Weather sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodolfo Mark skillfully saved the ball. Hernan Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Mark having to interfere. If Damian Rito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 73 minutes, Aureliano Resto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Sky FC and the Alvarado de Mar del Plata players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Adrian Jaunti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haroldo Atarrabi kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Black Sky FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Damian Rito fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 86 played minutes Alvarado de Mar del Plata got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Atarrabi. Saverio Weather took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodolfo Mark. Alvarado de Mar del Plata's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 90thth minute of the game Nereo Rufo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alvarado de Mar del Plata's Rodolfo Mark was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 97th minute Cesar Jenaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Sergi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Black Sky FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Alvarado de Mar del Plata for much of the match.
